Basic conservative dental procedures are repairing the tooth decay and root canal treatment.
Parts of teeth damaged by decay have to be covered by filling. Today’s materials are highly aesthetic composite materials that fulfill all functional and aesthetic requirements.

Dental care is called endodontics. The object of each endodontic treatment is to preserve tooth root. With endodontic procedure we do chemical or mechanical cleaning to remove the inflamed dental pulp. Due to the specific and complex structure of the tooth root is necessary to determine the precise length of the canal. Determining the length of the root canal and controlling the process of cleaning and filling of canals using a special electronic device for measuring the length of root canal – apex locator – and radiograph that provide us complete visualization of the structure of the tooth root. Endodontic well treated tooth can serve to the patient for many years can be used as a support for a bridge or a crown.

Pediatric Dentistry deals with monitoring the growth and development of the mouth and jaw in children and the prevention and remediation of caries. Prevention is what is the most emphasis, because at this age it is important to develop hygienic habits.

An important role in this is visiting dentist, which should be enjoyable and fun for children.

Dental control is necessary after the eruption of primary teeth and this approach may be the time to notice any changes in the earliest condition and advise parents about the importance of preventive measures to preserve oral health that includes: preventive procedures such as coating the teeth with fluoride varnish and fissure sealing in permanent teeth and those used in our clinic are fully translucent.

Fissure of permanent teeth, as the best method of preventing tooth decay, we do with modern composite and resin materials that allow a high degree of prevention for many years.

Regular appointments should ensure that children at their adolescence age have healthy teeth.

Orthodontics is the branch of the dental profession, which deals with the correction of irregular teeth position, and relations between the jaws during growth and even later in life.

Orthodontic appliances may be fixed or mobile.

Mobile devices patient can remove, and  fixed permanently remains on the teeth until the end of orthodontic treatment.

Fixed appliances sets orthodontist directly in the mouth, a mobile appliances are made in the dental laboratory. the imperative of modern man is beautiful and healthy look that is largely conditioned by a beautiful smile.

Consequently, an increasing number of patients in adulthood wants straight and beautiful teeth.

The age limit for orthodontic treatment does not exist.

Oral surgery consists of a series of surgical procedures with the aim of improving the unfavorable anatomical and biological situation. With the application of today’s modern methods, oral surgery is not more repulsive as it used to be.

Intraoperative pain does not exist or is reduced to a minimum, and home therapy traditional or homeopathic remedies controls possible painful postoperative symptoms. A large number of medical conditions may require oral surgery.

The most common procedures in oral surgery are extractions, surgical removal of wisdom teeth and residual roots, apicoectomy, implants, sinus lift and many others.

root end surgery

Apicoectomy is an endodontic surgical procedure whereby a tooth‘s root tip is removed and a root end cavity is prepared and filled with a biocompatible material.

When is needed an apicoetomy?

This is usually necessitated when a conventional root canal therapy had failed and a re-treatment was already unsuccessful or is not advised. In most cases this type of surgery is done successfully.

Sinus lift

For a successful implant placement essential are quantity and quality of the bone, into which the implant is placed.

Maxillary sinus lift is done when there is not enough bone structure in the jaw for implant placement.

This concerns exclusively the area of the back upper jaw, where molars and front molars used to be.

That area usually lacks bone for implant placement after tooth loss or periodntitis, because of rapid atrophy of the bone ridge and increase of the sinus cavity.

Sinus augmentation or sinus lifting is usually done simultaneously with implant placement if there is a minimum volume of the bone supporting the implant. If the bone has totally atrophied, around 6 months are needed between sinus lift and implant placement.

Sinus lift is done under local anesthesia and is completely painless.

There is no modern stomatology without implantology.

A dental implant is a titan screw placed into the bone and replaces the natural dental root. The surgery is painless because it’s done under local anesthesia. Implants replacing of one or more teeth, all teeth in the jawbone or as roots for dental prostheses.

The type of implant used depends on the situation of the bone and on special wishes of the patient.

Implants are made of titan, biocompatible materials inserted into the jawbone as a replacement for a lacking dental root.

With the help of dental implants, the problem of one or more tooth missing exist no more. The lack of all teeth can also be a phenomenon to solve by implants taking over the role of prosthesis bearers.

If the patient follow instructions to correct oral hygiene and regularly visits the dentist, dental implants may last a lifetime.

Besides these procedures, oral surgery helps also in orthodontic therapy, implant dentistry and corrects major irregularities and defects of the face and jaw.

Before placing orthodontic appliances sometimes is necessary to remove the individual teeth, milk or permanent, so that the therapy is successful and the teeth are correct.

Is the process of implant placement painful?

The process of implant placement is done under the local anesthesia in order to avoid a pain or discomfort. However, as in any surgical procedure the patient may feel a slight discomfort. In practice, most patients remain pleasantly surprised because they expected much more pain or discomfort during the procedure.

What is the procedure of implant placement?

What a few years ago was considered alternative procedure, today is common practice. The prosthetic rehabilitation with the help of an implant that mimics the tooth root is divided into two phases: Surgical phase which includes all procedures necessary to implant in or the bone and its preparation for the reception of a prosthetic part. The prosthetic phase includes everything you need to put teeth in the top or tops of the implants. After being placed in the bone, the implant takes several months (during which it is not in use) to let the bone grow around it.

Is there age limit for implants?

Older patients often think that their age can be an obstacle to dental implants. However, the most important factor is the health of the patient. If a person is healthy enough for extraction of teeth, it can be assumed and that is healthy enough for installation of implants.

There are various indications for implant placement, after a visit to our office,  we assess and advise the patient about what would be the best treatment for him.

What kind of care is necessary after the implantology?

Implant surgery is performed under local anesthesia and is completely painless. Being patient during installation does not feel pain, the procedure itself will not hurt, but the place of installation can really swell. It is therefore essential that immediately after surgery you use cold compresses on the site of implant placement to relieve swelling . Also, be sure to maintain a valid oral hygiene.

Although implants are not exposed to oral bacteria and can not be turned on as an ordinary tooth, inflammation of the surrounding tissue can significantly affect and interfere with the process by which the body accepts the new implant.

When it comes to the loss of a large number of teeth, it is possible to make aesthetic and functional reconstruction.

We work only with top-quality ceramic materials of high quality to achieve a natural look.

After consulting with the patient, the front surface of the tooth  is carefully prepared and, if it is necessary, the surrounding teeth are whitened and a print is taken.

The patient is given a temporary veneer which is used between two dentist visits. At the next visit the color, shape and precision of the finished veneer is checked and is cemented with adhesive on a specially prepared surface of the front of the tooth.

However it is used to correct small flaws on tooth such as color, gap and so on.

Crowns and bridges

The crown is made in cases where the tooth is so damaged that sealants cannot be used, when the tooth is weakened due to caries, after endodontic treatment due to deterioration or prosthetic restoration.

Teeth that have had lots of caries or teeth that have had endodontic treatment usually have severe damage, so it would be best to protecting them using a crown. For aesthetic reasons, the crowns can reshape teeth that are rotated or tilted.

Metal ceramic crowns are still the most common choice of our patients because of the very reasonable price, excellent performance and solid aesthetic components. They lack the natural translucency, but a skilled technician can achieve satisfactory aesthetics and the tooth can hardly be distinguished from the natural.

Full ceramic crowns, are made from pure ceramic characterized by high aesthetics due to its translucency, and are thus able to fully mimic natural teeth. Making such crowns demands laboratory work, and the final price is slightly higher.

Given the varying translucency, the covered tooth must also be a nice and natural color, so the indications for making these crowns is somewhat reduced.

Bridges are permanent prosthetic replacements that are intended to fill the empty space between the teeth, preventing dislocation of adjacent teeth, damage to the jaw joints or supporting tissues of the teeth.

Dermal fillers In our clinics we offer you to get a new smile but also to have a fresh look of your face. Dental fillers that we use contain hyaluronic acid, which is a naturally occurring component of the skin and is the key factor of young looking skin.

Your skin will immediately integrate it since your body recognizes it as a natural component. These results are also long lasting, from 6 months to one year.

Periodontitis usually develops when gingivitis, usually with abundant plaque and calculus beneath the gingival margin, has not been adequately treated.

In periodontitis, the deep pockets can harbor anaerobic organisms that do more damage than those usually present in simple gingivitis. The organisms trigger chronic release of inflammatory mediators, including cytokines, prostaglandins, and enzymes from neutrophils and monocytes.

The resulting inflammation affects the periodontal ligament, gingiva, cementum, and alveolar bone.

The gingiva progressively loses its attachment to the teeth, bone loss begins, and periodontal pockets deepen. With progressive bone loss, teeth may loosen, and gingiva recedes.

Sterilization In our office is provided to each patient procedure in a completely sterile conditions thanks to autoclave class B that destroys 100% of bacteria, fungi and viruses.
