A root end surgery

Apicoectomy is an endodontic surgical procedure whereby a tooth‘s root tip is removed and a root end cavity is prepared and filled with a biocompatible material.

This is usually necessitated when a conventional root canal therapy had failed and a re-treatment was already unsuccessful or is not advised. In most cases this type of surgery is done successfully.

Sinus lift

Maxillary sinus lift is done when there is not enough bone structure in the jaw for implant placement.

Sinus augmentation or sinus lifting is usually done simultaneously with implant placement if there is a minimum volume of the bone supporting the implant. If the bone has totally atrophied, around 6 months are needed between sinus lift and implant placement.

Sinus lift is done under local anesthesia and is completely painless.

Implants

Veneers

After consulting with the patient, the front surface of the tooth  is carefully prepared and, if it is necessary, the surrounding teeth are whitened and a print is taken.

Metal ceramic crowns are still the most common choice of our patients because of the very reasonable price, excellent performance and solid aesthetic components. They lack the natural translucency, but a skilled technician can achieve satisfactory aesthetics and the tooth can hardly be distinguished from the natural.

Full ceramic crowns, are made from pure ceramic characterized by high aesthetics due to its translucency, and are thus able to fully mimic natural teeth. Making such crowns demands laboratory work, and the final price is slightly higher.

Given the varying translucency, the covered tooth must also be a nice and natural color, so the indications for making these crowns is somewhat reduced.

Bridges are permanent prosthetic replacements that are intended to fill the empty space between the teeth, preventing dislocation of adjacent teeth, damage to the jaw joints or supporting tissues of the teeth.
